PowerCom is an electrical engineering firm based out of Lake Zurich, Illinois. This facility houses our main administrative offices, transformer oil analysis laboratory and state of the art repair facility. Our oil analysis laboratory offers different types of transformer oil testing. This includes, Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA), Karl Fisher Moisture Content Analysis and Dielectric Testing. Our highly trained technicians will overhaul, repair, and service all types of electrical equipment including: circuit breakers, protective relays, control circuits and switchgear. Our Electrical Engineers provide engineering studies that include: short circuit, coordination, load and arch flash studies. PowerCom also works very closely with switchgear manufacturer’s to provide our customers with custom fit electrical equipment. |

OUR TEAM
We are a group of Electrical Engineers from ComEd, with over 60 years of combined experience. As electrical engineers and high voltage technicians we have the experience and training in nuclear and fossil fuel power generation stations. We also have the knowledge to service power transmission and distribution stations. Our experience qualifies us to provide full-service maintenance, testing, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of low, medium and high voltage electrical systems. We are trained to safely and efficiently remove, clean and repair all types of electrical equipment. Our services are specifically designed to fit the needs for each customer. Our programs will help avoid interruptions of daily operations, costly and lengthy down times and also eliminate any risk of injury to your employees.

COMPANY NEWS
PowerCom is currently expanding. We have recently hired several new electrical engineers in order to help us serve our customers better. We have also increased the size of our transformer oil analysis laboratory to include highly trained personnel and the best analytical equipment available. The result is a better and a more comprehensive service to our customers. |
